IKU Faculty of Art and Design

Launched in 2002, the Faculty of Art and Design provides an education with a modern approach and in line with a holistic understanding of the disciplines of art, communication, and design.

Graduates of the departments of Communication Arts (Advertising and Public Relations), Communication and Design (Multimedia) Art and Cultural Management, Radio, Television and Cinema, Cartoon and Animation, and New Media and Communication are provided the experience, infrastructure, and educational content necessary to be prepared for academic and sectoral life.The faculty aims to equip students with the corporate and application-based knowledge needed in their professional lives with its strong academic staff, sectoral connections, and the opportunities it provides.

The latest technologies, technical software, and design programs are used at our faculty's Macintosh, PC, and Digital Laboratories. The Cinema and Television Studio meets students' application needs with its "Animation," "Advertisement," "Painting," "Design," "Montage," "Public Relations," "Acting," "Photography," and "Ceramics" workshops.

Departments of Communication Arts(Advertising and Public Relations), Communication and Design, Radio, Television and Cinema, Art and Cultural Management, Cartoon and Animation and New Media and Communication take students with "sözel" (linguistics) score type from the Undergraduate Placement Examinations (YKS-TYT).
