Dear Students and Young Adults,
 
The primary objective of İKÜ's Faculty of Art and Design, which was born out of the union of art, design, and communication, is to educate students to become the artists, designers and communicators of the future who have advanced social skills, an aesthetic perspective, and are capable of grasping universal values. Students of the departments of Communication Arts (Advertising and Public Relations), Art Management, Cinema and Television, Cartoon and Animation, and New Media and Communication receive a mostly application-based education that will allow to "make a difference in their own fields" and keep track of the latest technological innovations with the support of experienced faculty members.

As is known, the 21st century is an age in which the global balance of power is determined by design, informatics, communication, and technology. In this regard, areas of expertise which are born out of the union of art, design, communication, and technology are "professions that shape the future." At our faculty, students whom we consider the "leaders of the future" effectively learn about the professions of the future in line with sectoral demands.
